When I look out of my dorm room window, I never grow tired of the view that is the Philadelphia Center City skyline. The bright lights and tall buildings fill me with a sense of opportunity and awe. No matter how many times I see it, I remind myself to stop and take it all in. Coming from a peaceful town with a never-ending view of the mountains (which I also love and appreciate), the sparkling lights of the city are so exciting because, to me, they represent endless possibilities of new places to explore. During my first semester at Jefferson, I found some great places in Philly, from Bar Bombon in Rittenhouse Square, the restaurant with delicious vegan tacos and candlelit tables, to Winnie’s in Manayunk – the perfect brunch spot. Philly has something for everyone, so with that in mind, I asked Jefferson students their favorite spots in the city in hopes to find some potential new places to try…
